Funds Raised Go Toward Grants and Scholarships that Provide Educational Opportunities for Disadvantaged Students Throughout St. Louis
ST. LOUIS (August 19, 2014) – For Pete’s Sake is hosting its second annual Back to School Trivia Night & Silent Auction on Saturday, September 20 at the Maryland Heights Community Center (2344 McKelvey Road). All proceeds from the event will benefit For Pete’s Sake, a local charity that provides grants to existing non-profit organizations for the aid, comfort, support, and betterment of disadvantaged children, including scholarships for higher learning.
Registration is $25 per person with eight people per table. Individuals are encouraged to participate even if they don’t not have a full team. This fun evening will feature raffles, games, and prizes along with captivating rounds of trivia and auction items.
Complimentary soda, beer, popcorn, pretzels, snacks and more will be served, and participants are welcome to bring their own food. Fabulous desserts will be up for bid during the event’s dessert auction. Doors open at 6 p.m., and trivia will begin at 7 p.m.
Trivia night participants will also have the ability to vote their dollars for their favorite Greater St. Louis area high school to win a $1,000 scholarship.
